On this Ebay auction it says "This Vintage Fender steel guitar has two working vibrato pedals that control the rear neck".

Whats a vibrato pedal when its at home ?

That's a Stringmaster converted to a pedal steel. Do a Forum search and you will find some old threads about this. It was apparently a fairly common mod among Stringmaster players that got the pedal-steel bug ca late 1950s-1960s. If the photos on the eBay page were better you could see where the tuner pan was drilled out for rods to pull the strings.

In my opinion, anyone bidding on this baby should ask for some better pics that would show the extent of the damage done by this modification. It may be just fine.

I doubt they are "vibrato" pedals. I think the seller is not a steel guitarist and thinks these pedals offer some sort of vibrato when pumped up and down or whatever. It looks like a cannibalized guitar to me. I wouldn't touch it. (Lousy pics!)

I often read thro' eBay advertising comments and descriptions just for my own amusement.
Well meaning folks with no knowledge whatsoever of whatever it is that they're attempting to sell. It can get quite humorous.
