...looks like a good source for Fender parts to me. I wouldn't have any other use for it.
...talk about ugly! |

I don't think they get any stranger than that. At least only one neck is strung, probably to reduce the weight.
I almost missed the pictures at the bottom.
Those Electro-Harp style pedals really got my attention.
Obviously the product of an inventor, or mad scientist. It sure would be interesting to hear the story behing this one. |

Jody,
Do you know if this was put together at Fender or did someone else order customized parts to assemble it on their own? |

I dont doubt anything. I believe nothing of what I hear and half of what I see. I dont
think anyone at Fender did any side projects on this. This is an after market invention.
Whoever it was,did a a good job.
It is interesting I must say.

Non-original body (or cut body), non-original fretboards, non-original legs, non-original case, home-made changers and pedals… and 3 of the 4 bridgeplates have been cut (the string holes on the bridge end have been cut off).
The after-market workmanship is pretty good and it’s an interesting novelty piece. Rube Goldberg would be impressed!
