I Just Heard a New One

I just heard a new song that really moved me. The song is "Right Where I Need To Be", by Gary Allen. Now I'm probably going to get trounced on for this because this is obviously a Rock oriented song. I love traditional country music but I am also an old rocker.

I heard this song driving into work this morning and liked it so much I called the local radio station and requested it. They played it and I recorded it setting at my desk. Luckily the boss is in meetings so I have been setting here with the headphones on listening to this thing.

Now there is no steel in this song ,(probably would be better if there was), and the guitars are definitely rock, but there is passion and drive behind it that really stirs me. Has anybody heard it and what opinions do you have of it?

I'm prepared for the stones so fire away.
