What ever happened to Donna Fargo?

Post by Paul Stertz »

I was listening to one of her songs yesterday, and a few of us were wondering what ever happened to her as you don't hear anything about her. Is she still alive, and if so, is she doing any singing?

Write "donnafargo" into your browser address box. This works with a lot of performers, both past and present. Image

From what I can gather from several "inside reports",she can "thank" Stan Silver, her husband/mgr./producer,for the decline of her career. When I was working w/ T.O.,we did a package show (remember them ?) with her,& he was (as I recall) somewhat of a "jerk".Not askng, but "demanding" things of the promoter of the show, etc. Don't know if she's still in the "business" or not but,she was a heluva singer.

Hey Smiley,
What i was trying to say was: Go to www.donnafargo.com and you'll get all the info. One of her businesses is selling her own greeting cards. Apparently, she does still perform. Image

According to Don Sessions (who gave her her name, "Donna" after Don's wife, and "Fargo" after the Wells Fargo bank that was across the street from the restaurant where they were sitting whilst trying to come up with a name), Donna has for years had a mild form of MS and has cut back immensely on her schedule. Best, Boomer
