I have to limit it to three? OK, Ernest Tubb, Faron Young, and if this is a Country and Western station, Bob Wills and the Texas Playboys. Hey BJ if you can't get a long enough list of real country artists to fill out your playlist, I'll be happy to give you a lot more names! Will I be able to dial your station in loud and clear up here in Michigan? Tim R.

Being a loyal ex-west coast picker and resident I'd have to say:

Buck Owens
Merle Haggard
Wynn Stewart
Bobby Austin
Skeets McDonald
Rose Maddox
Jerry Inman
Glen Garrison
Tony Booth
Warren Smith

I think you'd hear a lot of ol' Moon on these records.

Y'all are doing great, but I have to applaud a 24-year-old HagFan. (Check out that recent CD release of Waylon Live -- includes some great Waylon cuts that weren't included originally.)

Who needs to remember any further back than that? Hag will take you all the way back to Jimmy Rodgers, Emmitt Miller, and Bob Wills.
