I enjoyed her performance on Austin City Limits tonight.

Mike,

I second that. I watched her on Madison's PBS station. I thought she did a great job. I also kept hearing what I thought was steel, but there was no steel credit!

B0b... the steel sound was being emulated by her electric guitarist and I thought he did an excellent job of it, adding just the right touch where needed.

I really enjoyed that bluesy love song that she did with just the acoustic guitar and fiddle accompaniment.

The wrong side of Memphis song was really good too.

She's one of my favorites! Wish I could have seen the special!

Is that the same PBS special she did with Don Henley doing duets with her? I was just amazed at the precision of their singing -- they stayed right with each other, even in the stylized areas. And their voices blended very well together. Great work. (And it did not look like they retracked later, either.)

Missy and Bill,

This was a very recent "Austin City Limits" with her current band. The second half hour was with Alison Krauss and Union Station.

Bill, this wasn't the special with Don Henley. I know which one you are referring to though. That was a great special.

This "Austin City Limits" should be shown on all PBS stations in normal rotation in the near future I would think.

I'm a huge fan--"How Do I Live Without You" is one of the best for me, with some of the most exquisite Paul Franklin playing on record.
