I was sorry to hear that Doug Sahm passed away. I got to meet Doug about 2 or 3 years ago at The Bottom Line in New York City during Grammy week. Augie Myers, Manhattan Transfer, Bobbie Nelson, and a host of others were killin' time there. Doug got up and sang a few songs. I got to shake his hand and tell him how great I thought he was. Just like a typical star struck fan. He will be missed.
