Sorry too folks,Looks like for the moment all the hype and worrying was for naught..However I am sure Opry management was in total surprise to find out Garth was not interested in helping such a Country establishment,after all it could effect his image... He wouldn't want to be called "too Country"..But you know what the Opry survived for 75 years without him it just might continue without his help...I for one am tired of his so proud to be heres...However I can't say the man is not talented and a marketing Genuis..Knowing that the Opry only seats 4500 is not an attraction for him...I guess I for one was too hasty in my assumptions of the Opry meeting held last night..However I reserve final judgement until all the facts are aired.....cjc.[This message was edited by Joe Casey on 12-07-99]
