Emmons S-10 P/P

Post by Mike Auldridge »

I have a 1973 Emmons "fat back" single 10 push/pull for sale. Beautiful sunburst lacquer finish on birds-eye maple. Gold tuning keys with chrome headstock, neck and fretboard. Five knee levers, three floor pedals. Perfect condition and one of the prettiest steels I've ever seen... with hard case, $2500 and I'll pay shipping within the continental U.S. Contact Mike Auldridge at McLaren85@juno.com

Hey Mike-
Just wondering: did you play this Emmons on any of the Seldom Scene recordings? If I could, I would snap this one up in a heartbeat. All the best,

Hey Chip,

No, I never recorded with this steel, but it's got "the tone" for it. However, I'm also selling some dobros that I have recorded with. If anyone is interested, please drop me an email.

Although I have never heard this steel...I can certainly vouch for its beauty. It was displayed at the Virginia steel show last weekend and it attracted lots of envious stares.
Mike, As usual, I was in awe of your dobro work with Paul last weekend... What a surprise. The ResoCasters cd is also very good, it made great listening on the ride back home.
