Scott. As I note above Robert (R.) Crumb, the artist, is living near me and is a fine, fine mandolinist. I have heard him called Bob occasionally. More often Robert though.

I have seen him play with a 38 piece band.
he and the guitarist/singer were the only ones who never left the stage and played every song.
I am not sure if the would have gigged at the Circle 9 Ranch though
