Thanks for your interest in the violin. This is my second violin. I injured my neck playing high school football many years ago & playing the violin causes me severe pain. I bought & sold a violin in 2004. Unfortunately, I forgot about the neck pain & bought this violin new in January 2005 to again try to learn to play. I sold my first one for $100.00 but I believe that this one is worth more due to the mechanical tuners. If you do not want them, I could provide the original pegs instead and reduce my price. It also has fine tuners on the tail piece. I added the mechanical tuners. They are made specifically for violins. I have played guitar for 28 years. This is a student model. I know nothing about the maker but it seems like a reasonably good violin for the money. I guarantee that I would not be selling it if my neck was healthy.
I am asking $140.00 or possible trade for lap steel of similar value.
