Sho-Bud S-12 3+4
Sho-Bud extended E9 S-12, 3+4 with case, $1650.00 plus s/h.
Many detailed pictures here: http://homepage.mac.com/johnnypez/PhotoAlbum16.html
This is a great sounding, twangy, tobacco brown Sho-Bud in great condition. Early-to-mid 70's vintage, I believe. Inspected by "PF" it says on its ID sticker, which I assume is Paul Franklin, Sr.---built by the master himself!
Stock single-coil pickup that has tone to the bone. Double raise, single lower, all pull, no barrels or baskets. 3 wide pedals, 4 teardrop knee levers. Emmons pedal setup. Mechanical double stop on string 2.
In very good-to-excellent condition, just a few cosmetic flaws, nothing major (see last pix at website), nothing that affects its smooth playability. Case is in good shape.
The guitar was recently lubed and adjusted by my tech, Chris Allen Burke. Several pulls added for lowest strings.
If you've always played 10-string, I strongly encourage you to find out what a huge difference those 2 low strings can make in your sound, especially on this vibey Sho-Bud. My other guitar is a Mullen D-12, and before that an MSA D-12, so you can see I'm big on the fat 12-string sound---like Buddy Cage, Doug Livingston, and many other fellow forumites

Sho-Bud is still available and looking for a twangy home. These 12-stringers are not common, especially from Sho-Bud. It plays great, and sounds even better.
If your taste in music leans towards rock or country-rock (you know, the BAD new country music, LOL), you'll sound a ton better comping power chords with a low E and G#, trust me on this one!
