Jimmy Days Sho-Bud Super Pro II Blue Darlin' VI
This was Jimmy's last Sho-Bud guitar. Blue Darlin' VI is for sale. This guitar will be offered by bid only. This guitar is exactly like I recieved it from Jimmy. George L pick ups, custom made flight case, Sho-Bud volume pedal, and Jimmy's Evans amp. There were only 16 of these Super Pro II's made by Sho-Bud and this one has some features that I believe were only done on this guitar. Seller reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids. Bids will be accepted at my e mail only; steeln@klompy.net
serious inquiriers only please

Good ones, Curt and Jeff. Pappy always told me "When you got looks, S#!+ will do for brains..."
Buying this rig will make me play exactly like Jimmy, right?
I'd be curious to see what bids have been offered, even in a silent auction you get to see that, regardless if you get to see the names of those bidding.

It makes me miss Jimmy Day. When I first got into steel guitar I was lucky enough to attend Tom Bradshaw's West Coast Steel show and I got to meet Jimmy and talk to him. He was so nice and gracious to me and gave me some great advice and even gave me his phone number and address and said I could call him sometime. Sadly we would never meet again, I will never forget how kind hearted he was and how great he played that day.

If I bought it for $15,000.00 would they change the pedals to the Emmons set up?
Seriously, that is a very beautiful Sho Bud for sure. Ricky, I'm surprised you haven't mortgaged something to buy it! : )
[This message was edited by W Franco on 23 November 2005 at 04:28 PM.]
