Jimmy Days Sho-Bud Super Pro II Blue Darlin' VI

This was Jimmy's last Sho-Bud guitar. Blue Darlin' VI is for sale. This guitar will be offered by bid only. This guitar is exactly like I recieved it from Jimmy. George L pick ups, custom made flight case, Sho-Bud volume pedal, and Jimmy's Evans amp.There were only 16 of these Super Pro II's made by Sho-Bud and this one has some features that I believe were only done on this guitar. I understand this steel is valued at $15K. I wish I was rich instead of so damn good looking. I'd sure own this steel.

Buying this rig will make me play exactly like Jimmy, right?

I'd be curious to see what bids have been offered, even in a silent auction you get to see that, regardless if you get to see the names of those bidding.

It makes me miss Jimmy Day. When I first got into steel guitar I was lucky enough to attend Tom Bradshaw's West Coast Steel show and I got to meet Jimmy and talk to him. He was so nice and gracious to me and gave me some great advice and even gave me his phone number and address and said I could call him sometime. Sadly we would never meet again, I will never forget how kind hearted he was and how great he played that day.

This looks like the guitar he was playing while playing for Ray Price here in Mn. at the Medina Ballroom about a year before we lost him. What a STEEL, what a PICKER & what a NIGHT!! If I only had the $$$$$$$.

Those are not standard Super Pro pedals, but they are the wide type that Jimmy liked, and Sho-Bud rounded up enough to put on this guitar for him. I was in St. Louis the year they gave it to him and asked that same question. It's original.

Great looking SHO-Bud. From the looks of some of the things on this guitar,It looks like Jimmy had this guitar built the way he wanted it.This is not your average production
made guitar. Someone should get a nice one here.
