Carter Starter

Post by Charlie McDonald »

Being offered again, due to a sale not completed.

It's a great guitar--ebony 'mica, in good shape. I've enjoyed it, but want to move to a universal (or hire a literary agent).

Includes tuning tool, Jeff Newman's 'Pedal Steel Guitar Techniques Part 1 & 2' DVD with tracks CD; 'Quick Start' tape, and Joe Wright's 'Pick Blocking' videotape. Included is carpeted hard case in perfect condition. A good starter outfit.

I would like to get $600 for it, plus shipping, as I've renewed some parts (springs and tuning nuts) and spent many hours getting it well-set up, timing the pulls--slightly tampered thirds, not strictly ET. You can hear it here: http://steelguitarforum.com/Forum15/HTML/010619.html
Pictures below.

I will also entertain bids beginning at $500, ending on Sunday evening, 11/20, as I'd like to get it shipped out by Thanksgiving. Money order is the preferred means of payment, but Paypal is possible if the bid is high enough to cover the fee.
You may post your bid here, or if you wish it to remain anonymous, contact me and I will post the bid amount so high bid is always visible.
