TWO Sho Buds For Sale!!

Post by J W Alexander »

1974/1975 Pro II Custom Nylon tuning system, single raise/single lower fingers with one additional raise hole welded onto them (factory modification). This model has the larger round front body which is thought to have a better tone by some players. George L humbucking pickups w/selector switch but original coil tapping switches removed. Color is walnut stain. Pull rods probably are not original and have small notches or cuts that identify their locations—see photos. Overall condition is good as this was a guitar played on a lot of stages during it’s life. It’s well used but not abused given all the use it has seen. Emmons set-up Case shown is original

1976/1977 Pro III Custom Nylon tuning system with triple raise/triple lower fingers in a factory upgraded changer. This is all original and was most likely custom ordered---and nothing has been changed or altered although the coil tap switches may need replaced. 5th knee lever lowers the 3rd & 6th strings one-half step—it is not currently connected at the crossbar. Color is black, also original and not refinished. Emmons set-up, no case.

Please know both are not immediately playable “as is” and should be seen more as projects needing some attention or restoration of some degree—nothing too serioius though depending on your preferences.. $2100 for the pair plus DHL insured shipping. I will crate and package them securely at no additional charge.

I have approximately 5.5 megabytes of detailed photos I’m glad to send. If additional views are required please contact me. I will attempt to answer all questions ASAP but our own Ricky Davis has been helpful to me in describing these here. PLEASE contact me directly as posts here may be accidentally overlooked.

Thanks for looking and feel free to ask any and all questions!

I don't want to buy the guitars but I'd like to have the pictures for some projects I'm working on.

Hey JW,
I would like to see the photos. Are you willing to separate the two? I am only interested in the later model black w/ 3 over 3 changer.

Thanks,
CAB
