My memory is a blank on who played on Kitty Wells original recordings of It Wasn't God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels and I Don't Claim To Be An Angel and what none-pedal tuning used. Also who played steel on Vin Bruce's version of Wild Side Of Life. Appreciate any info or memories you would care to share.

Bill,
Since Kitty Wells & Johnny & Jack had a "family" show,(Kitty being married to Johnny Wright) it would've been Shot Jackson playing on her recordings. He played Dobro on J.& J. recordings,& Fender steel on Kitty's recordings. At least,that's what he had when they played my hometown around '54.
