I never thought I'd part with this thing after all the work that went into it and I've been agonizing over this decision for days, but the fiscal reality of medical bills has reared it's ugly head. Most have heard of this particular instrument but an in-depth review plus pix can be found within this old 3 page thread:

It has a pair of Jason Lollar 10 string Stringmaster type pickups/blend pot on a custom chromed steel pickup mounting plate machined by Chas Smith. That and the 6 knee levers and attendant running gear have been designed and rendered in a most Fenderesque manner. This is the guitar Fender SHOULD have built - a 10 string Stringmaster with 6+6. It has double raise/double lower so it could be rigged up as either a 10 string E9 or C6 with a very modern set-up. And it's quick and easy to change pulls. It's a Sneaky Pete/Mooney freak's wet dream - I'm here to tell ya.
It's in very good shape - the original sunburst finish/black frame with minimal wear/dings,changer cover w/the big embossed Fender "F" and original case and extra parts.I've got about $1500 real dollars in it - plus way over 100 shop hours building the knee lever mechanisms by hand. Not to mention the months long internet search for original Fender cables/pulleys,etc.
I need $2000.00 firm to part with my baby cause I know there will never be another one remotely like it. I thought I would run it by the forumites before I put it on E-Bay. More pix on request.

This is my dream guitar. One of 'em anyway. A pedal Stringmaster. Gadzooks. In a perfect world I would buy it with the provision that if and when, it would be yours to buy back straight-up, Michael. But alas I don't have the cash right now for what would be a secondary axe (that is, not my main axe) and I can't justify it. Man....
