Pat Kirkley, the finger-style ace who tours for Taylor Guitars, plays the 514CE. I watched him play in a tour workshop and he had it smokin! He said he likes the warmth of the tone with the cedar top.
I own a Taylor 710CE and love it. Their playability in the whole registar is unbeatable.

Yep, I like them Taylors too. I also have a 514CE in my collection, as well as a Baby Taylor, a 410, a 614C, an 810, and an 815CE Expression System. All of them sound and play good right down to the Baby.
