FS: Carter Starter

Post by Daryl Stogner »

For Sale:

Carter Starter 3x4 E9 standard setup

It's in excellent condition. Bought from Lynn Owsley this summer and now have a ShoBud S10.

The Carter comes with good case. Will sell for $500 plus the usual shipping fee's via UPS. I think that hit me from Nashville to Arizona for about $70.

Will be shipped from 85364 (Yuma, AZ)

U.S. Postal Money Orders Only.

Daryl, you just couldn't stand it,could you? You are now infected with the PSG bug. I am sure you will be one fine steel player really soon (if not already)..... Good price on the Carter...JD

John,

Not only do I have the ShoBud, now I've got the hot's for a GFI S10 keyless! If you saw my house, you'd know I'm hooked right away. Looks like a music store. So bad I had to move it all into one of my rental houses to keep it all in! Sheesh... and I'm wanting a N112 to supplement my stereo amp system. I've got to stop this nonsense, when I croak.

Sure did, been sitting down at it when I can. Long story since the last time we got together. The levers are setup different than standard E9th levers.

Sure love that thing! You going to PHX in January?

Ron,

You wouldn't believe how much this town has grown. When the Army sent me here in 72, it was about 35,000 and one heck of a Country Music town.

Now, it's 120,000 and much more in the winter months and there isn't a decent country music club anywhere. It's all of those Californian's that have fled the land of high taxes and earthquakes that are moving here.

I know, I was one of them! hahaha

Not a bad town at all, just too danged hot in the summer.

Hi Darrell,
the wife said sell my Sho-Bud Maverick before you get another steel. As soon as I sell it and if you still have the Carter, I'll be getting a hold of you.

Daryl,
Just checking to see if you still have the Carter Starter. People are starting to make offers on my maverick so it should be gone soon. P.S. Does it have a good sound? Thanks

Yes the Carter Starter have great tone,as does the GFI and Zumsteel Student Model guitars. You'll be much happier with this Carter than the Maverick you have now.

Hi Daryl,
I live in Nevada, right next to you. How about 500.00$ plus 50.00 for the shipping.
Thanks Tony

Tony,

$500 for the guitar and $50 shipping is what I was asking for it. Seems we're close to agreement here. hahaha Or since you live in Vegas, we could meet in Lake Havasu, you get to look it over before you buy it. There's a restaurant not far from the London Bridge, on Hwy 95.

Aw darn, I see you're in Carson City now...duh!

Let me know.

Daryl

Hi Daryl,
as soon as i sell my Maverick, that will free up enough money to get the Carter Starter, that is unless someone beats me to it. MerryX.

Time for another bump, before I decide to keep this thing as a backup steel.
