ZB Custom For Sale

This is posted for a friend without 'net access.

ZB Custom D-10, 8 and 2. I'm not sure about the age of the guitar. The finish is pretty rough and the fretboard on the top neck is warped a little and lifting off of the neck. I've got the top neck (E9th) playing ok but it still needs some work but I don't think I'm enough of a ZB tech. to do the job properly. I haven't worked on the back neck yet.

Mechanically the guitar looks good and I suspect it just needs a little TLC (and an experienced ZB owner) to turn the unit into good condition.

He told me to start at $1500.

Larry Chung has just informed me that, according to the serial number 0616, the guitar is vintage '74-'75.

Yes,its in mint condition, but I've got two others. One just finishing restoration and another going in. Just finished restoring my 70s D-10. It's 8+4 now! Yah!

Hi Daniel and Armon:

Daniel - you sold me the lovely, buttery #1077, which is the warmest-sounding steel I've ever played. Thank you!

Armon - the serial number should be stamped into the metal edge of the guitar on the underside and on the same side as the changer. Happy Hunting and Happy Thanksgiving, too!

Don't forget that Doug's selling his buddy's ZB.

Since I didn't have a clue about the resale value of this guitar we decided to start with a price that was at the very top of the scale (based on my own perception of the condition of the guitar).

I think it is now safe to say that a price reduction is appropriate. Let's try $1200.00

Like I say, the guitar is not in bad condition, it's just not in great condition either. I'll try to get some pictures and post them or email if anyone is interested.
