84-85 LDG Shobud Green 3p+5 Knees
Here i have a beautiful LDG i Purchased a short time ago, Polished it up and cleaned it up ,and now it is ready for a new player.
I have a couple more pedals with this guitar, all the extra parts if you need them. I was told however to keep the steel stock. And to keep the extra parts for emergency repairs.
Who ever buys this steel will get some steel lessons to help him or her get started!
If the buyer is advanced,i will still offer some Pedal Steel Lessons,on the E9 neck, that i know will be of added interest. These will consist of some advanced scales,I learned from Jeff Newman in the 80's, while attending his seminars.
I am selling this because i have too many steel guitars, amps, etc, and need to liquidate some.
The price is 1550.00 plus shipping , and extra packing by the UPS store.,
Pictures by request and email!

I have so many emails that I have to end this sale right now, until I can put pictures on the forum. Sorry for the inconvenience.
That many professional buyers tells me that the steel was way too cheap, and that a LDG Shobud is a sellers market, and needs some reconsideration.
Until i relist it . Thanks

Farris, the last LDG i saw on Ebay went for over 1800 in the last few minutes. Remember that one? That was about a month ago. The fast action will take place in the last 2 minutes of the auction.
As you know,Most people wait in a auction, and try to get it cheap at the last possible moment.
Remember he is STARTING the bid at 1500! He is expecting more and will get more.
That is IMHO of course.

Generally speaking Sho-Bud LDG's are worth considerably more than that. Ebay is at best, a pawn shop when it comes to steel guitars, and not really a fair market. They can go from way too cheap, to absolutely ridiculous, and it's more of a luck-of-the-draw thing, than it is with two gentlemen negotiating a fair price between each other. I don't blame Sonny for wanting to re-think his offering, obviously others are encouraging the same.
Best of luck to you Sonny, those LDG's are great guitars, just as the name implies.

In order to give everyone a chance at a beautiful LDG,I am taking offers on the Forum until 3.00 PM on Sunday Sept 26,2004,
At that time, the highest offer, will be the new owner of this fine steel guitar.Any ties goes to the earliest offer.
Serious offers only.
The minimum offer will start at 1550.00 Who will be the first?
I usually have the UPS store, pack the steel for 25.00 and we then add the insurance and shipping.
Because of health problems the:
Seller reserves the right to cancel any offer because of overseas shipping problems. Plus all the rest of the problems that come with shipping. plus,
two previous heart operations, and a major stroke. Not to mention a wrist and carpal tunnel operation 7 weeks ago! Enough said!
To be blunt , i cant lift a darn thing. Perhaps a Minnesota buyer? A walk in! Somebody close to MN.? I can manage a the UPS store, with the help of some neighbors.
THESE OFFERS WILL BE TAKEN UNTIL IT IS OVER. MINIMUM OFFER IS 1550.00 LETS GET IT ON!
Remember it ends next Sunday, Sept. 26, at 3:00 PM on the Forum!

I would be willing to give him his cut!
Which reminds me,I reserve the right to sell this LDG off the Forum . Should I get a realistic offer from a buyer/seller, and wants to keep the sale discreet. And of course the Forum would get the standard donation in any case.
NOW TAKING OFFERS BY EMAIL ALSO. THAT SHOULD MAKE IT EASIER FOR EVERYONE.
I SUSPECT THAT, THIS IS THE ONLY WAY IT CAN BE DONE FAIR AND SQUARE FOR ALL CONCERNED!!
