Does anyone know how to play this on E9.
Sounds like he uses A,B and B,C at the same time. What is the trick? |

Moon's setup is so cool, you will never be able to play that voicing on standard E9.

Marco-
I believe there is recordings copying Mooney"s style with E9 tuning.
One thing you need is split off that E to F# on the C pedal on a single pedal or knee lever. Just one string......al |

Hi, I would love any bits and pieces of info on TAB for this tune. I have a 10 string Fender/Sho-Bud 3 + 1. I have setup it up as close to Mooney as possible, No Chromatics, I start with 1st=G#. I setup my pedals Day sytle, and have setup my one Knee Lever ( RKL )to get the Solo E to F# Mooney pull. This is the tune that pushed me over the edge to go out, search for, and buy a Pedal Steel. I need to learn this. |
