O K I have worked out a very nice arrangement of this tune. I have a very nice melody using the lower voicing strings. I am trying to do another verse with a higher octave rendering and a harmony variation. When I get through I will send this to anyone who asks "Free of Charge." Give me another week or two. It is quite exciting to listen to a vocal tune and then work out the steel version using basic scales.

I'd like one also; and thanks. I ran into Hank Locklin many years ago in England; nice guy. I believe he's the ambassador in Brewton, Ala, now (met his mother there many years ago at a small church near the Locklin home).

I have my version tabbed out and can fax it to you. It is real simple and easy to play, mostly strings 5 and 6, but sounds great with a band or tracks. This would be real good for a beginner to intermediate player.

Hey George,

I would like to see your version too but don't have a fax.

Can you e-mail it or should I just come over and pick it up.

I now have the Frauline Tab scanned and I can send it via email (Free) to anybody that wants it. If you are looking for something fancy, this is not for you. It is the way I play everything, just real simple, pure melody on 2 and sometimes, 3 strings. I think it sounds very good, but what do I know. It comes alive with a band or tracks.

I scanned the tab and can send it via e-mail if anybody wants it. It is very simple and easy to play. This is not for anyone looking for anything fancy or a handfull of strings. Just straight ahead commercial E-9th style on 1 and 2 strings. It comes alive with a band or tracks, though.
