I've got this older Emmons School of Steel Guitar tablature. The pedals are called 1, 2, and 3. The F lever is called A, the Eb lever is called B, and the G#-F# lever is called C. Underneath the score are numbers like 1 or 1,2 or 1/2 or B. I'm feeling kind of stupid because I haven't been able to decipher it all yet. Oh there are also a little t, a, and b next to the picked notes. I'm assuming those are finger designations.

Thanks in advance,
Brad

As far as I can remember the numbers 1, 2 or 1/2 means either just pedal 1, or pedals 1 & 2 (1/2). T = Thumb, a = ist finger, m = middle or second finger. I think the 'a' is either a latin term, or medical type reference.

Thanks Nic. What confuses me is that in some places there is the 1/2 and other places it is 1,2.

Thanks!

Brad:

I just emailed you an attachment of the info sheet from Emmons that explains everything in detail.

a 2 under any pedal means a half pedal.
