Got No Reason Lick

Our Lead guitar player told me I was doing this lick wrong.Its the lick,lead and Steel do together before the verse from D back to G.Thanx Tony P.S. The Gene Watson Tune

Tony tell us what you are playing that the guitar player says is wrong. A friend played with Gene Watson for quite a while and if necessary I can email him for the lick. George

Basically,He and I are doing different things and of coarse lead guitar players are always right.I'm starting at the 10th fret "D" and desending to the 3rd fret "G" no pedal position.But he says it doesn't sound right.Tony

I don't know if I do it right either, but I start the harmony on the 4th string at the 17th fret.
