Rebel Steel, is it still online?

Post by Bill Fuentes »

As of this afternoon I get the dreaded:

"The requested URL /rebel/steel/ was not found on this server",

I know it was there last night. Being new to PSG I need all the TAB i can get for the songs I am supposed to learn

I knew I should have printed those off,

I don't understand this. One second it's there and the next it's gone! What's the point? Is it a money thing? Just no time to keep it up and running? As our dear friend Snoop Doggie Dog would say.....WHAT DA' DILLO?

I found a link to an archive site for the Rebel site and it is http://web.archive.org/web/20030210115243/users.interlinks.net/rebel/steel/steel.html
I hope this helps my fellow steelers out.

Those archive sites have a limited shelf life. Get it while you can.

Too bad somebody didn't email me about this. I am President of our Union and have been quite busy of late getting ready for contract talks with the City. Haven't been on my computer much except to check email.
Seems like my ISP was doing some server changeover and my whole Steel directory is gone!! The Gospel directory is still there so those clips have been available but not the steel ones.
Give me a few and I hope to have it all FTP'd back up to the server.

Thanks loads, Graham, I'm sure that there are many of us out here that enjoy this site; I thank you every time I go there.

Talked to my provider on Saturday and he was able to pull everything but A to H off his old drive. I have uploaded all of those and also resent all html files up so hopefully there will be no missing links.

I checked the main page and it loaded ok but do not have time right now to test the others. If you come across a broken link, please let me know.

Thank you and sorry for the inconvenience.
