Uses for the G#-F# drop on the 6th string

Notice you have the 6th string lowered a whole tone; then you keep it lowerd but hit your "b" pedal to raise it a half tone...then let it all off.

-Tom Brumley does a whole lot a real pretty, smooth stuff with the 6 lower and I'd love for you to show some of that, Ricky. Any time I see Brumley tab it opens up worlds of new ideas for me.

Yeah, absolutely, Bob. My 'new' p/p constantly reminds me of how much I've come to rely on this split. I'm having a hard time getting used to not having it. We are talking about the B pedal/F# lower lever yielding the G note. I'm aware that a p/p can be rigged to do splits and I may look into it in the future but my time is not real committed to the Emmons right now.
