Jessica-Allman Bros.

Post by Kirk P Dighton »

I have been working on Jessica by the Allman Brothers. I think it is a good "alterntive" steel instrumental. Does anyone have or know of a tab available for this alon with chord changes? Has anyone recorded it on steel? I would appreciate any help on this. I have been doing it in key of D. Thanks. Kik

It was originally recorded in the key of "A"....

I can tab it for you on the steel or the guitar, including the harmonies. I happened to have been in the studio with Vassar a couple of months ago and we were warming up....guess what came out.....I think we should have recorded it again..the whole band was on fire with that tune....Its pretty much diatonic in A major and not really complicated. I have all of Dickeys licks comped to the note too......

I have figured out a majority of it, but have a few funky spots that are giving me heartburn. That would be great if it could be done. What's the cost???
