Without getting into all the details the basics could be if you were to play the song in the key of D
1st part of Verse:
5th fret with AB pedals, 5th fret with A pedal,10th fret with AB pedals, then 10th fret open
Chorus:

Hi Raymond

If you go into the search section at the top of the page and type in Tammy you will find two threads from June 2001.

One gives the chord progression and once you have that you have the tune.

I tried it last evening and I agree that the 1,4 2,5 3,6m progression sounds great.
