Hello Wayne

Saw your post and just today pencilled out a very basic tab for this song. Will send it out in a day or two. Let's work together on this and then we will let Ricky, Bengt, Dave and others do the final editing. I'm just learning to tab and this is a good challange for me. Are there other solos you like? Right now I'm tabbing "Moonglow" and "The Shadow of your Smile". They are almost ready for posting, hoping I'll get some help.

I have never seen the original notes to "blue spanish eyes"

Isn't that a coincidence?

Jeff Newman has just released a CD and tab of 16 tracks entitled 'Just Jammin' and one of those is Blue Spanish Eyes! I've been trying to play it all over the Xmas holidays!

Bobbe Seymore does this song on Steel Guitar Favorites (cassette). He also has a pretty good tab book to go along with it.

Hi Fred, I am sure that the guys will appreciate your tabbbing "Moonglow" and "Shadow of your smile".

I have played most of those old tunes, and have enjoyed them.

I tabbed "the shadow of your smile" on paper with pen, for a friend of mine. Tried to do it just way I would play it.

I don't know how to get it on the Forum or computer though. If someone will show me how, I will try and put it on.

Bengt and Don

I've created a monster with "eyes". First, I play my version and then, Bengt, play yours (it has a much more Spanish sound with the 10th string, thank you). And then with a quick little Spanish Modulation such as:

BB CCC DD DDD then break in with Don's version in G, and oh yeah, don't forget the Cha Cha Cha on the end, ha. And of course, Bengt, another great exercise on the Majors

Thanks to everyone,
I got Jeff Newman's (Just Jammin)cd's and tab
in the mail today.He does a great job playing
and tabbing Blue Spanish eye's.It's not gonna
be as easy as i thought.Gotta go practice.
