Does anyone have tab or chords for the jazz standard "Perdido"?

My best friend Gary Carpenter has that on his CD and you can get it on the catalog section here on this forum. Gary also does a talk tape instruction for any and all the songs wanted on his CD; so e-mail him and ask or phone him and ask.

Hey Mark,
Here's the chords, in Bb

|C- F7|C- F7|Bb | G7|
|C- F7|C- F7|Bb(Eb|D-G7)|
|C- F7|C- F7|Bb | G7|
|C- F7|C- F7|Bb | |
bridge
|D7 | |G7 | |
|C | |C- |F7 |

|C- F7|C- F7|Bb | G7|
|C- F7|C- F7|Bb | |

The G in the 3rd bar of the bridge could more
accurately be called G13.
I wrote an optional turnaround in (brackets)
Some guys, when they're soloing on it, play
|C- |F7 |Bb | G7| instead. Depends on your bass player's lines. You may prefer another key, but if you get out jamming, and this tune gets called, it'll likely be in Bb.
Hope that helps.

John,
Probably your C- (C minor) should be Cm7, No?

John, I saw music at the GuitarMasters website that is similar to your chart, except Bb6 replaces the G7 in the verse. Is your chart the standard harmony for this song? Thanks, Rich

Hi Rich,
Yes, the G7 chord could be considered optional. I'm not sure if I have a chart for perdido or not, I just wrote the chords out of my head.
thanks,
-John
