Someone must know the chords. Both songs have sections where the chords "walk down". Those are the ones I need

I don't have a recording of "Hold It", but I've heard guys play it a time or two. I always thought it was just a blues progression. Most of the I chords are 7#9 chords, and most of the IV chords are 13th chords. (most likely using the boo-wah pedal)
I believe it's a II-V blues rather than a V-IV, but I could be mistaken.

Julian Tharpe showed me how to play Hold It several years ago.
In order to not miss naming the chords I can tell you the strings, frets and pedals used.
Key of C, C6 Tuning:
After the lead in on the bass strings:
1. Third fret, boo-wah pedal down--strings
3 & 5 while raking the 9 & 8 with your
thumb.
2. Next chord (F?) same fret and strings but
release the boo-wah and press the pedal
that lowers the 5th string and raises
9 & 10.
3. Back to #1 above----the walk down is:
strings 3,5,8 & 9, boo-wah down--third
fret to open stings to 5th fret to 4th
fret and then back to the 3rd fret.
Hope this helps as I really don't know the
exact chord made by the boo-wah pedal--I've
heard it called every thing from a flatted
something to a suspended something or other.
Anyway one simple progression that will work
for the bass player is a simple C to A to D to G and back to C progression.

Thanks guys. I know how to play the song (Hold It) but was unsure of the chords in the "walkdown" part of the song. I suspected it was 1-6-2-5 but wasn't sure. I will play around with differents forms of these chords.
I'm trying to use Band-In-A-Box to make rhythm tracks of these songs and wanted to be sure of the right chord structure.

The C chord (I) is C7#9.
The F chord (IV) is F 13.

Well John, I don't think you're nuts. Thanks for the info. I thought it was a 2-5 thing but the alterations of te chords just threw me for a loop on this one.

Buddy was tinkering without an amp in his booth at the convention a few years ago and he played the following after the boowah to A7#9. It gives you a common tone in there.

Buddy Charleton showed me this cool 3-6-2-5 turn around that he plays in B Bowman. It starts playing the I chord at the V position of the key. He plays B Bowman in C, so it starts at the 7th fret (C6 tuning):

I editied this because I realized from the following post that the turn around is a 3-6-2-5, not 1-6-2-5. That first chord is some sort of E. Indeed, it appears to be an E min 7.

Richard, both of these chord progressions are on my HH RhyTrks CD's. If you are one of the purchasers on my list, to whom I have promised to email chord charts, I have completed 12 of 20 chord charts, will finish up this weekend and email all 20 to all concerned.

PS. only in the first and last verse of Hold It, should the back up guitarist play the C7 as C7#9. Also the C7#9 should be followed by plain old F7. F13 is OK, and no reason it can't be used, but the #9 of C is an Eb note, as is the b7 of the F chord. That gives you that common tone "holding it" on top.
Also Re: bar #9 of Hold It, The steel plays Db9, but the band actually should play G7. When the steel plays the Db9 over the bands G7, this is referred to as Tri-Tone Substitution. The effect is lost if everybody plays the Db9 chord.
Bars 7, 8, 9 & 10 are in reality simply a standard / I7 / VI7 / II7 / V7 / progression.
