Brent Mason's Hot Wired
Hi all.
I was wondering if anybody has tabbed out Paul Franklin's UNBELIEVEABLE solo in this Brent Mason song. I love to learn it but wouldn't even know where to start.

Guys I feel this song was recorded in A and not Bb, the key the song is on the CD.I say this because of the open string lick near the middle. In A this lick lines up perfectly but in Bb you have to raise the 8th a half tone and (half-pedal) the 5th while moving the bar up two frets and back. I should mention you still have to move the bar in A,just no knee pedal or half-pedal needed.
Just Hammer 8th string 3rd fret then play 5 open, then play 8th string, bar down. move to 5th fret hammer 8 and play 5th string, pedal down. then play 8. move back to 3rd fret hammer 8 and play 5th open, then 8th string bar down. Now hammer 8 at 3rd fret, play 6th string pedal-down open, and then play 8 bar down 3rd fret. Dang tab would have to be easier than this. Hope this helps. Double B PS, this is just my take on this. I don't claim to be no steel player. Don't claim to be no speller either! <FONT SIZE=1 COLOR="#8e236b"><p align=CENTER>[This message was edited by Bobby Boggs on 13 May 2003 at 09:17 PM.]</p></FONT>

I'll get the ball rolling. This is the first part as I hear it. It's done based on the first chord being Eb. We can change it down to D later. At the end of this piece, the second track with the "bumble bee" solo kicks in. If we can tab that, we can work out a passing note or two so that the solo is in one piece. Let's try to keep it going. And Ricky, I reduced the font on Notepad to 10. When I type in 6, it makes no difference, and this is what I get. And I don't know how to do URL's. This is getting frustrating... Jeff
