People Will Say We're in Love

Post by Larry Lenhart »

Several strange things here on this tab:
(1) Db is a different key, but that is where the great guitarist Johnny Smith played it, so I just stuck with that key (you can always move it up or down one fret to put in C or D)
(2) It is a different song for the steel, but lays out quite nicely for the steel, and I have been working on a medley of tunes from
"Oklahoma" and this is one of my favorites.
(3) I will put the bridge on tommorrow if there is any interest in the tune.
(4) it doesnt line up here as it does on note pad nor when I try to edit it-it looks fine there, but not when I post it-sorry-any suggestions would be appreciated.
(5) I left out the bar measures and chords purposefully to reduce clutter and didnt think it necessary

Hey Larry that tab seems to line up ok pal.
If you wrote in right in the messege box than just make sure you are margined over to the left each time you start a line. If you wrote it on notepad than put the "tab" code just before the start of the tab only than copy your tab and then patse it and then the other "tab" code right at the end of the tab in the messege box.
Good job; looks fine.

Great-thanks for the suggestions-I like your choice of chord substitutions !! It is interesting what you can overlook sometimes that is stareing you right in the face. Thanks for taking the time and showing the interest.

Hi Larry, Lots of good tab there. Are you using the Biab program? Or clik=tab. I have an old friend in Florida that has wanted me to tab all those old standards that I play, but I find it too much work and too time consuming for me. But If Clik-tab or Biab will help make it easier for me, I will do some of them with all the good chords in them.It is good to see more of this sort of thing on the Forum.....al
