wonder which tunings(8 string) will be perfect for those pull-offs/hammer-ons/trills (don't know how to call it) used in a lot of western swing and vintage hillbilly steel playing ??!!
Please help, maybe someone has a cool lick to post !

In any major chord tuning, there are a lot of scale notes at the first and second frets that can be hammered. I do that a lot in E and D tunings. For example, in E13: <font face="monospace" size="3"><pre>
