I haven't worked it out, but I've heard that John Hughey uses the C pedal as much as most folks use the A pedal.

Here are the first seven notes (as I play them) for "Not Much Love Here
Anymore".

<font face="monospace" size="3"><pre>
1-------3----3R~3--------------|
2------------------------------|
3---------3--------------------|
4----3------------3~3L---------|
5-------------------3----------|
6------------------------------|
7------------------------------|
8------------------------------|
9------------------------------|
10-----------------------------|
</pre></font>

"R" raises the F# to G#
"L" lowers the E to Eb

Do not mute any of the first 5 notes!! Letting them ring makes the unison
notes sound good.

It sounds to me like his "R" lever is raising both the F#-G# and the D#-E. It works well on this.
<font face="monospace" size="3"><pre>
1-------2R~2~2R--2----------------------
2-------2R~2~2R--2----------------------
3-----2---------------------------------
4--2--2----------------2---2L--2---4----
5--2-------------------2A--2---2A—-4~A--
6---------------------------------------
7---------------------------------------
8---------------------------------------
9---------------------------------------
10--------------------------------------

</pre></font>

<font face="monospace" size="3"><pre>
1---------------------------------------
2---------------------------------------
3—-0~~2--2B~2---------------------------
4--------------------2C~2~2L~~~2--------
5—-0~~2—-2A~2---------------------------
6--------------------2A~~~~~~~~2--------
7---------------------------------------
8—-0L~2L-2L~~------------------2--------
9---------------------------------------
10-------------------2~~~~~~~~---------
</pre></font>
