Farewell Party

Post by Chris Lucker »

Does Gene Watson's "Farewell Party" start with a long turnaround sweep? Or does the long turnaround occur in the middle of the song?
I know I have the CD around here somewhere, but I cannot find it.
Please help me out with the tab. My mind has created a lick to fit, but I'd like to know what the real Lloyd Green lick was. Thanks
Chris

It has got the short turn in the beginning. If you tab, swing on over to Ricky Davis' and Rebel's tab site.

Chris,

Lloyd's turnaround was longer than the intro and included a modulation. Click on the link and go to the "Unknown" page. You should be able to listen to it there.
