The turnaround chords at the end of the bridge are G to Bb.

By coincidence, I recently had a request for Sleepwalk and was trying to remember how it went. Isn't there a second part (chorus)? I believe it goes F Fmin C Eb C F Fmin C Eb G7 but I'm not at my guitar and not 100% positive.

Also, email Don E. Curtis at Scotty's Music,Don did Sleepwalk on his current CD "etched in STEEL" and he did an awesome job on that tune.

I know this is not the original way it was played, but this is what we do at that turnaround at the end of the bridge; everyone seems to agree it sounds pretty hip:

Turnaround at end of bridge - Sleepwalk
Key of C (C6 tuning)

G7 Ab9 G9
1---------------------------|--5----|
2-------------6----6--6--6--|--5----|
3--7--7-7-7---6-------------|--5----|
4--7----------6-------------|--5----|
5--7----------6(5-----------|--5(5--|
6--7------------------------|-------|
7---------------------------|-------|
8---------------------------|-------|
9---------------------------|-------|
10--------------------------|-------|
You can strum any of these chords, if you're so inclined. They're biiiig!

In the verses try playing a Dmin7b5 instead of F (C, Am, Dm7b5, G7) however an F in the bass sounds good with this. Also try an altered dominant passing chord at the very end of the bridge before starting the verse again (between the G7 and C) such as G7#5. Good luck, Don
[This message was edited by Don McClellan on 11-26-99]
