It's in C6 tuning, played by Bruce Bouton.
To approximate C6 tuning in E9, lower your E's and you've got B6.

I thought he played it on E9 (but then I play EVERYTHING on E9)

I tried these licks out with a band I audition with,and I gotta say they were pretty darn accurate.THANX

Steve,The licks I used are the ones Mr. Mamczak has transposed for you above,he transposed,it to be played on the E9th neck.
