Blue Bayou" break

Post by Eddy Scheepers »

Hi all,

I'm new to this group. Can anyone help me with the tablature of the break in L. Ronstad's version of "Blue Bayou"?

Ya' know, I got this album too, and it's probably on vinyl, but I'll check. Very sweet, very simple but effective- perfect for the song. That's what makes it so great. Dan Dugmore had a good day there. I remember it starts open going up to A, so we know the key. Give me a few and I'll tab something unless someone else beats me to it.

2R~2 = Play string with R in place , then release R . R = minus semitone
7~A~7 = Play string , bending in A pedal , then release A pedal , without picking. A = +1 tone
Hello Eddy , if this lines up ok , I hope it's close enough. I love that solo .

Anybody know which album that cut is from? I love that tune and I used to have Linda'a version of it on an album, so I went over to www.cdnow.com to get it, but I can't find it. I thought it was on "Heart Like a Wheel" but I guess my memory is mistaken.

Hi all,

Thanks for putting me on my way, but I think the intro goes like this. Anyone else? I hope this tab will appear properly.
