Try This One!

Post by Buck OBrien »

This is a really sweet turn around that, I think, I pulled from some of John Hughy's stuff.----I can't figure how you guys do tab so I'll do it in more simple language.
Most chords get one count but you can make it into what ever fits your turn around. I'll do it in "A" chord but it can start at any open chord and follow the same progression.

A at fret 5, (Open), strings 5,6,8
A at fret 8, (F lever/A pedal), strings 5,6,8
A at fret 12,(Pedaled) strings 5,6,8
D at fret 17,(pedaled) strings 5,6,8
E at fret 15,(F lever/A pedal) strings 5,6,8
E at fret 15,(F lever/A pedal) strings 3,4,5
A at fret 17,(open) strings 3,4,5
D at fret 17,(pedaled) strings 3,4,5
A at fret 17,(open) strings 3,4,5
E at fret 15,(F lever/A pedal) strings 3,4,5
E at fret 15,(F lever/A pedal) strings 4,5,6
D at fret 13,(F lever/A pedal) strings 3,4,5
D at fret 13,(F lever/A pedal) strings 4,5,6
D at fret 13,(F lever/A pedal) strings 4,5,6
Slide back to Pedaled "A" at fret 12
END---Enjoy!

Will this one work on it or do I need to change something??

Again I am a beginner and have lots to learn.

Your 3 pedal E9th will do 95% of what you hear on the radio.
Have you figured out any tunes yet on your E9? Do you already play guitar? Can you pick out "Slowly" onj the guitar for example?

Guil, Yep you can do most anything you want on that D-10. I've got a Shobud D-10 Superpro. If you want give me an "E" mail at my home and we can chat back and forth. Maybe I can be of some help to you getting started. I've got loads of stuff tabbed out in hard copy that I'd be happy to share with you, along with some ideas on what was most helpful to me in getting started. My home "E" mail address is obfam@hardynet.com

guil,
the old saying works here, if you cant hun it then you cant play it, hum it to yourself find what you hear on your guitar and bank you have it, now after you get it look at it and you will find every note you done will be in the scale you're playing in. learn two things at once good luck Joe
