Slow Waltz Intro

I'm in over my head here but here goes--this is similar to the intro (Hal Rugg?) on G. Jones 'Right Now I'd Come Back' (and melt in her arms--it sort of quotes 'I love you because' a little. ~~~=slur/sustain/slide/bend or something--
this can be played so many different ways, too (so what else is new).
Key of E.
V-I cadence with one note pick-up.
