Carroll Benoit created another masterpiece! I met him in Austin on Friday, and attended the Resofest on Saturday.
All I can say is, If you think it looks good - You ought to hear it! Tons of volume, great punch, sweet mids, rich bottom end, and an impeccable finish. These guitars are truly the "sleeper" of the current available brands. Tone, volume, craftmanship, looks, and best of all: Some of the nicest people to work with!

Kenny....Congratulations on receiving your new resonator guitar.
The quality, materials and workmanship Carroll puts into every guitar, makes each one a masterpiece. As you know I have had a Benoit 8 string for quite some time, and I can't imagine being without it. |

Thanks guys - This one is liable to make the mandolin player mad!
John, I'm going to have to learn how to play it first. After going to the Resofest, I'm pumped! |

Andy - The guitar has great tone from top to bottom. Good bite on the upper, and nice clear bass response. It's not mellow like a Koa/Walnut & Spruce would be. Of course, It's sound is "bigger" and more contemporary than my Dobro. To me, it's got a sound similar to Sally VanMeter's guitar on Great Season Waltz on the Great Dobro Sessions album. I'm thinking it's going to be scary when it gets broken in! |

Congrats Kenny!!!! That's one fine looking guitar, of course I didn't expect anything less from our buddy Carroll. You'll have to bring it down and set in so we can hear it!! |
