After a lot of practice!

The standard guitar is all pull-offs (I suspect it has a low action and light strings), the slide is moving (on a rail?) and he's picking as one would normally do with his right hand.

Astonishingly clever and very well done!

I'm convinced that there are certain people on this planet that have a way disproportionate amount of talent, therefore depriving the rest of us...

Just noticed he has no fret markers yet in perfect pitch.

Hey Bob!

I agree with you and Mike. But it is also the leather cowboy hat and shredded jeans. If I had clothes like that I could play like that... for sure!

I've been thinking of getting a hat like Buddy Emmons used to wear, but they're quite expensive so I'll settle for being mediocre.

Very unusual to have the resonant part of the string towards the headstock. Never seen that.

At first I thought it was fake because the slide was going in the opposite direction of the pitch to my brain.

Yea, but no bar slants. And he didn't play with his teeth once in the whole song!

I had the pleasure of seeing this fellow live several weeks back at a free concert on Orcas Island Washington 10 minutes from our home. I was skeptical going in but, oh my, what a talent, and a great entertainer.

He has a bunch of videos on you tube that are filmed very creatively. Check them out.
