SC Steel Show Report

Post by Brian Christiano »

WE HAD A GREAT SHOW YESTERDAY

Pat Severs and Tron Standridge were unable to make the show but we had a great lineup of players.

Here is an example of Gary Hart performing some awesome gospel with vocals.

Brett Crisp and Joe Turner did not disappoint the audience.

Thanks to Ron and Ronnie Kyne from WV performing as father/son, passing along the love for the instrument to the next generation.

Gary and Pam Catlin came down from MD and added to the great music.

Bill Nicholson, Mike Taylor, and The McKoy Brothers all played their own brand of steel and guitar sounds. Mike also did some guitar picking, giving Bob Strickland a break. The audience couldn't say enough good things about the venue, the players, and the hospitality.

Wendell Gurley, always a great vocal addition to every steel show, sang several good old Ray Price tunes.

Brett Crisp doing an old Stonewall Jackson hit, That's Why I'm Walking, with Jason McKoy on vocals.
