TELONICS—great customer service,

Post by Tony Glassman »

Had an amazing customer support experience with Telonics.

My four year old TCA 500 C amplifier developed a power amp problem. I called Telonics and was immediately connected with the company owner and developer, Dave Beaty. After a 30 minute phone conversation, David suggested that I send the entire amp back to Telonics.

Several days later I received a shipping box, complete with packing material and instructions for packaging with prepaid shipping via FedEx. The cost of shipping both ways was covered by the company. Now the amp works perfectly & sounds like a million bucks.

Kudos to Dave & Sophie at Telonics for their unparalleled customer service.

100% agree Dave ... I have 2 Multi-Taper's and one of them had a taper or two that had nothing on it, (bought used)... after downloading a Windows Emulator on my Mac, I was able to do the update, so updated both of them while at it. HOWEVER, when I tried out the pedal that had some of the tapers missing, the tapers were there, but sounded like someone through a blanket on the guitar. I hadn't used this pedal in a few years so had forgotten, but ABing both pedals side by side the blanket was GLARING. I emailed Dave to scratch his head and a few minutes later Dave calls me to give me some idea's what may have happened. I did as advised and now BOTH my pedals are identical, and it was an easy fix. He then called back later to check on my progress and just shot the breeze for a good "catch up" session. Dave and Sophie and the whole Telonics gang are the Gold Standard in both Product and Service. Love those guys

Don't have any of their products, but discussed an electronics issue with Dave concerning VP remote circuit.

Have heard nothing but good things about Telonics. Good to have such a reliable and customer friendly company building great products for the steel guitar community.
