NEW Caladesi 1950 Fender reproduction with gig bag $1,550

Post by Dan Campbell »

Brand new 1950's reproduction of a Fender console 8-string steel guitar. The guitar at the new price comes with a gig bag seen below. For $100 extra you can get the hard shell case below. This guitar is 3/4 inch thicker (over 2 inches) than most that I make. You may also note that the first couple pics feature a different fretboard than I showed previously. I have several fretboards to choose from or I can make you a custom fretboard. The nut and bridge are solid brass for enhanced sustain and beautiful sound. The nut is embedded into the body of the guitar and the bridge is .375 inches in diameter. High-end electronics including CTS pots. Natural wood fretboard with purfling and Surf Green color on the body. String spacing at the bridge is .375 inches and at the nut .344 inches. Legs included and the hard-shell case is pictured below. I guarantee this guitar sounds better than the original Fenders. I know a lot of you think that is impossible, so I will refund the money of anyone who buys it and disagrees after they try it out. The reason it will sound better is because of the brass nut and bridge and the pickup. Also, the Lollar is a bit wider in order to better pick up the two outside strings. Brass sounds sweeter and has more resonance. The biggest difference is that this guitar will last 50 years.
