Dick McIntire 3 songs from 1st session 1934
Some Dick McIntire that I transferred from 78s to digital. These are from his first session? in 1934. Although these 78s were pretty rough and took way to much time to clean up, they sound ok. Thought some might want to hear them.....from my YouTube Channel.

Thanks for all you do, Chris. Dick practically invented that relaxed legato yet swinging electric steel sound.

Sublime. Recorded 14th September, 1934. The frypan had barely been available for two years at the time this was recorded. As Andy points out, Dick's playing is a turning point - a fully-formed departure from the acoustic style that immediately preceded it.

Good eye Guy.
I did use Internet Archive for that information. It list Muliwai Hula as being from the 1934 session. But that looks like it was wrong.
I do have the Rockwell discography. I just wish it were laid out to be a little more user friendly. I find it hard to read...but a lot of worthy session information.
