Bales Weissenborn shaped lap steel

Handcrafted in the the Ozarks region of the USA by Bales Guitars, founded in 1987. This is a great Weissenborn shaped lap steel. Semi-hollow chambered body. 25 inch scale. Gorgeous woods, quality components, and great construction. Has some finger pick marks in the topcoat (lacquer) finish, but otherwise minty. Comes with a better quality TKL gig bag. $775 shipped.

How would you describe the sound? Lap or Weiss?
