CARTER D10, Limited Edition, Lacquer finish....SOLD

Post by Bob Tuttle »

I need to sell my Carter D10 Limited Edition steel. (I just had knee replacement surgery and the bills are coming in.) It has the polished pedals and levers.
It is natural lacquer finish maple with mother of pearl inlay. They didn't build many of these. It is in excellent condition. I really don't want to ship this guitar. You can see it, play it, and buy it at my home in Republic, Missouri. That's in the Springfield area. It has 8 pedals and 5 knee levers. It has the Day pedal configuration on E9 and a standard setup on C6. $3200.

Bob,
I am sorry to learn of your knee surgery and resulting problems associated with that...Hope you are back to playing soon. This is a great deal on the Carter...I have owned several and know how good they are...yours is a beauty !!
If I could get my Gretsch CG sold, I would be purchasing yours. Good luck with the sale...I have long enjoyed your steel playing !

Thanks guys. My knee is healing up nicely. I'm able to get around pretty good using a cane. I'm back to play some at church and at the local senior center. Fortunately I have good friends who carry my gear for me. I've got a couple of other guitars that I'm using.

I might consider taking a nice s10 as a partial trade on this guitar. Also, I would be willing to drive a couple of hours or so to meet someone.
